Whitney Wiggins

Database Management & Business Support

Whitney Wiggins is responsible for accounting, managing the software information system, as well as admissions and back office support. She grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and graduated from UNC with a degree in Political Science and Public Policy.  After spending a year abroad in college she wanted to travel the world. Whitney was hired as a customer service agent for American Airlines and quickly moved to software tech support and then software development.  She loved working with customers to define their business needs and managing a team of software analysts and developers to build Web products to meet those needs.  In 2001 she moved to Ithaca with her husband Jeff, who is the eBird project lead at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. She has two amazing children, Grace (an EACMSI graduate) and Tractor (in Middle School) and enjoys knitting, being outside, college sports and hanging out with her chickens.
