Summer Camp 2017
New Leaf Summer Camp for Ages 3- 6
Four sessions: Monday through Friday (except Session 1) from 8:30am – 3:30pm daily
For new and returning EAC students ages 3 – 6
Summer fun at EAC! Come and enjoy days filled with exploring nature, art, cooking, and gardening. Be prepared for water play as we fully embrace the gifts of summer. For children ages 3 through 6.
Week 1: Monday, Wednesday through Friday, July 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th ($240)
Week 2: July 10th – 14th ($300)
Week 3: July 17th – 21st ($300)
Week 4: July 24th – 28th ($300)
If you would like your child(ren) to participate in New Leaf Summer Camp, please purchase it via your Smart Tuition account:
Visit https://parent.smarttuition.com/ and login. Choose the academic year 2017-2018 and then choose Purchase Optional Items at the top of the page. Then select the child(ren) you’d like to register for camp and then choose the desired week (billing items are “Summer Camp – New Leaf Week 1”, “Summer Camp – New Leaf Week 2”, “Summer Camp – New Leaf Week 3”, and “Summer Camp – New Leaf Week 4”.) Finally choose Pay Now and provide your checking or savings account information.

‘Scratch’ Camp with Deb Adams
One session: Monday through Friday, July 17th – 21st 8:30am – 12:00pm
For returning EAC student ages 7 – 11 with permission of instructor. Maximum enrollment 8 (minimum 6 students)
Using Scratch, a computer programming language developed at the MIT Media Lab to enable students to be creative with computers, your child will learn how to program their very own unique games, animations and interactive stories. This camp is a fun way to introduce younger students to the building-blocks and foundation of programming while tapping into their imagination.

More ‘Scratch’ and Beyond with Deb Adams
One session: Monday through Friday, July 24th – 28th, 8:30am – 12:00pm
For returning EAC students with permission of instructor. Maximum enrollment 8 (minimum 6 students)
Take your programming to the next level and learn by playing! Using a variety of coding tools, students will be exposed to a wide range of activities and applications. They can create their own unique video games, create a digital app, or program a robot. All you need is your imagination and some previous Scratch experience!
