Linda Chen received her M.A. and Ed.M in Music and Music Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. Linda came to us from a Montessori school in Queens where she taught music for 5 years. She loves to engage with different instrumentation, singing, listening, rhythm games, creative movement, storytelling, as well as multi-cultural experiences with students during her teaching. Linda participated in the Montessori Music Conference last summer in Rochester, NY. She will attend the Long Island Choral teachers workshop this summer at Adelphi University. Her interests include baking, arts and crafts, tennis, and jogging. Linda lives with her husband Tony in Owego.
